Community Outreach
Portsmouth and the Seacoast have historical and cultural strengths that land it on various “best places to live” lists. Wilcox is a proud contributor to our local community, intent on bringing families and people together to remember those who have served our country.
Wilcox’s contributions to local arts programs are exemplified in our Main Stage sponsorship of the Prescott Arts Festival and for 7 years have sponsored the City of Portsmouth’s annual Forth of July Fireworks Extravaganza to bring awareness to veterans and their families in need.
We support the regional Seacoast Emergency Response Team (SERT) with in-kind donations of tactical equipment to keep them outfitted with the latest gear keeping them safe in their workplace.

For over five years, Wilcox has proudly sponsored the Dan Healy Memorial 5K, which supports the Dan Healy Foundation in support of veterans and single parent households. Beginning in 2023, Wilcox began sponsoring the Fox Point Sunset 5 Mile Race, benefitting local Newington Public Schools.
Our community consciousness extends beyond people and families, as exhibited in our environmental recycling programs which capture all recyclables from our waste stream (scrap metals, coolants and refuse waste). Our facilities team ensures that more than 90% of our cleaners and solvents are environmentally friendly.
Portsmouth, the Seacoast and surrounding areas are home to beautiful natural landscapes and variety of wildlife habitats. Wilcox is committed to doing it’s part to ensure future generations have the opportunity to enjoy our local natural treasures.
