The RAAM GSS (Rapid Acquisition Aiming Module – Grenadier Sighting System) is a lightweight day/night sight for the M320/M320A1 grenade launcher, providing a fast and accurate firing solution on varied terrain for Grenadiers, Breachers, and Riot Control Units. Derived from the successful Wilcox/US Army GSS program, it features an easily adjustable, environmentally stable optical bench with an integral reflex sight (plus backup iron sight) for daytime and a near-infrared (NIR) aiming laser and illuminator for nighttime use. The RAAM GSS enables quick switching between ammunition types and allows multiple grenades to be fired at the same distance without adjustments. It enhances hit probability and reduces target engagement time for day and night operations. 

ACCESSIBILITY & EASE OF USE

The RAAM GSS stores up to 32 ammo types for improved accuracy. Its integrated atmospheric sensors autonomously adjust the ammunition firing table range for better precision. Operators can assign two grenade ammo types to the Quick Selection Switch, saving time and effort.

Rotating the RAAM GSS’s large-step range dial allows for on-the-fly target acquisition. The small-step range setting is displayed on-screen for even more accurate targeting, providing the Operator maximum flexibility. 

The RAAM GSS is designed for ambidextrous, left or right hand, mounting to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny side rail interface affixed to assault weapon (s) or a standalone man-portable Grenade Launcher. No special tools are required for installation or removal. The RAAM GSS unique windage and elevation adjustments allow operators to easily set zeroes for the entire optical bench with minimal adjustments, reducing the operator’s time spent zeroing. 

ENHANCE OPERATOR SPEED & ACCURACY 

The RAAM GSS has 2 preselected weapon/ammunition configurations [seen in the rear of the RAAM GSS as “Ammo 1” and “Ammo 2”.] The operator selects the grenade ammunition type from the stored ballistic solutions from the RAAM GSS menu or preprogrammed 2 position switch quick ammunition selector; this tailors the point of aim and point of impact for the selected ammunition. Operators can easily preset weapon/ammunition configurations for enhanced accuracy and speed of change across ammo type, dramatically reducing time and effort. 

The RAAM GSS mode selector switch allows the operator to easily transition between operating modes and includes a blue high power lock out screw to ensure low power eye-safe laser function.

The Wilcox MK-32 Speed Loader Accessory extends this capability by allowing operators to reload multiple chambers simultaneously using one hand, instead of one chamber at a time, ensuring faster reloading with good stability.
