The dovetail base provides quick attach and detach capability, and the Wilcox Two Stage Flip Mount offers stable off‑axis positioning. Its force‑to‑overcome pivot provides three positions: deployed, 90 degrees, and 160 degrees, reducing overhang and maintaining weapon balance.
